disejno LLC is a creative studio launched by designers Joel and Beth Dougherty in 2008. Based in Minneapolis, disejno LLC currently serves clients locally and nationally.
disejno LLC specializes in brand strategy, corporate identity development, and logo design. We also assist clients with large-scale fixture design, retail displays and merchandising.
Excellent design does more than just look good. disejno LLC offers design solutions that are idea-centric. By learning about each of our clients and their needs, we develop informed brand strategies that serve as the roadmap for guiding them to the best destination. We believe that this process is essential for designing solutions that suit our clients. Then, with the goal in mind, we get to the important stuff like making it look good.

Emerald Valley Artisans provides convenient, gourmet cheeses to the greater Pittsburgh area. We’ve grown fond of saying, “They’re partial to sharing the handiwork of smart friends, being sensitive to the environment, and petting their cows regularly.”
Their desire was to create tangible and emotional impact for their products which would allow their company to grow strategically into more competitive markets. Their desire was to emphasize the quality and versatility of their products, distinct sense of humor, and welcoming family culture.
Our solution was to focus attention to the dynamic relationship between the people behind the products—the dairy worker, the cheese maker, the lady at the farmer’s market.
The logo illustration evokes two images that anchor the brand: a cow and a hand extended in friendship. The color palette and style of the designs reflect the fun-loving attitude of the brand, while being winsomely sophisticated.
